MindWorks Marketing where looking for a brand refresh to bring them into their "Year of the Remarkable". A new, modern look with a refreshingly bright colour palette. View the website prototype.
The logo got a very subtle change, but one that was necessary. Mainly because the old dot wasn't actually centre. Impossible to notice to the naked eye, but very annoying when you're trying to animate it.
The thicker stroke and centre dot improve the logos legibility at smaller sizes and gives a much stronger overall look to the logo.
Blue has always been a core colour at MindWorks, but the old navy blue fell flat, and looked dated. This new MindWorks Blue has a strong digital, electric feel to it, and matched with MindWorks Mint, gives a much more modern look to the overall brand. The Grey and Off-White give the chance to tone-down publications as to not overpower the viewer with the two bright primary colours.
The use of a gradient comes alive across socials and the website, adding to the new digital feel of the brand. An overlayed “squiggle” adds some depth to the gradient and can be used as a focal point.
The pitch deck gives a good example of how the colours can be utilised in order to not be overpowering and still be impactful.
The Mint shows up a lot less in print, and is used as purely an accent/highlight colour.
